Blue Island Press calendars are printed and assembled in Australia. Every day has a box to record your diary dates. High quality archival grade Italian felted or chalk stocks are used and calendars are twin loop wire bound and hang from the top. Each page has an image which you can frame to keep after use.

Ethel Louise Spowers (1890-1947) was born in South Yarra, Melbourne, daughter of a New Zealander father and a London-born mother. She was one of several Australian women artists associated with the Grosvenor School of Modern Art, London, which included Dorrit Black and Eveline Winifred Syme. She also studied in Melbourne and Paris. Spowers mounted an exhibition of Australian linocuts in Melbourne in 1930. In 1932 she became a founder of the Contemporary Art Group, promoting modern art in Australia. Spowers apparently destroyed some of her original works late in life; the surviving prints are especially valued by collectors in recent years.
