Nancy Tichborne - about the Artist
Nancy is a well known watercolour artist who hails from New Zealand. Having studied in London, she lived in Hong Kong, working as a fashion designer and illustrator, before moving to the UK with her husband. Returning to New Zealand in 1970, she worked as a freelance garden designer while raising their three sons. She has illustrated several books, published her work in several calendars and been commissioned to design a series of stamps for New Zealand, Pitcairn Island and most recently, Bhutan. She has produced three videos on the topic of watercolour painting. She and her husband Bryan currently live on a rural
